The Classic Sale offers important old masters and classical art, as well as highly qualitative furniture, silver, jewellery, applied art and textiles. Stunning artworks by masters such as Anders Zorn, Gustaf Fjaestad, Karl Nordström, Carl Larsson, Jan Brueghel the elder and Carl Milles are included. A rare find is the interesting 17th century copy after Giuseppe Arcimboldo’s ”The Librarian”. Other highlights includes an important chest of drawers by Gottlieb Iwersson, four Louis XVI armchairs by Georges Jacob and a Sèvres porcelain urn with ormolu mounts attributed to Pierre-Philippe Thomire.

Other highlights in the Asian Sale include a celadon ‘meiping’ vase, a carved cinnabar lacquer box and cover and a rare and fine model of a rock formation incense burner from the Wanli period.
