To bid in person, you will need to register for and collect a numbered paddle before the auction begins. Please remember to bring proof of identity, such as a driver’s license or passport.
If you are unable to attend the auction in person, we will be happy to execute written bids on your behalf. You may use the absentee bidding form to indicate the item upon which you wish to bid and the maximum bid amount you are willing to make. Absentee bids should be returned to Uppsala Auktionskammare by fax, by e-mail or through My pages no later than two hours prior to the auction. When we execute an absentee bid on your behalf, we will try to secure the lot for you at the lowest price possible. Please remember to bring proof of identity, such as a driver’s license or passport.
If you are a registered internet client you may place bids through our website until one hour prior to the auction. In order to place a bid you have to login at My pages. After this you may browse the online catalogue and place a bid on an object directly on the website. When we execute an absentee bid on your behalf, we will try to secure the lot for you at the lowest price possible.
A written request for telephone bidding should not reach us any later than 6 pm the day before the auction. The telephone bidder undertakes to make a minimum bid up to the item’s lower estimate. Uppsala Auktionskammare’s representative will contact you from the saleroom prior to your specified lot and will relay your bids to the auctioneer. For your safety you need to register as a client on our website in order to conduct a telephone bid. Telephone bids can be registered at My pages when you are loged in.
As a registered client you may place bids live during the auctions. In order to place a bid you have to login. Through UAK Livebid, our real-time video and audio service, you may follow the auction live and place bids from the comfort of your home or from anywhere in the world. Each lot are shown on your display and it is easy to place a bid.
If you are a registered client and wish to bid at our auctions exceeding a total of SEK 3 millions (3.000.000 SEK hammer price, buyers premium excluded), you will need to make a deposit and / or supply a bank reference upon request. Please contact our customer service no later than three days prior to the day of auction to be approved for higher level of bidding than SEK 3 millions: support@uppsalaauktion.se
