Important information to our customers and visitors due to Covid-19


Uppsala Auktionskammare and all our employees are strictly following The Public Health Agency of Sweden and the Government´s recommendations and orders in view of the coronavirus, Covid-19. We have an internal policy and have taken precautions.

We dissuade customers and visitors who are most at risk not to visit the auction or exhibition.

We refer customers and visitors most at risk to take part in our digital services for the auction or exhibition.


EXHIBITION BEFORE THE AUCTION

We have taken appropriate measures to minimize risks of spreading infection at the exhibition before the Decorative Sale 7 April. The viewing hours have changed. There will be limitations to the number of visitors at a time in the premises and we will introduce the possibility to book private viewings. We will provide the service to view objects via FaceTime (or with other digital means) with the help of our specialists.

Open exhibition:
Friday 3 April, 11 AM – 5 PM
Saturday 4 April, 12 NOON – 4 PM
Sunday 5 April, 12 NOON – 4 PM
Monday 6 April, 11 AM – 5 PM

– We will allow a maximum of 25 visitors at a time in our premises in Uppsala. The exhibition area is approximately 500 square meters.
– We recommend keeping a distance of at least 2 meters to other visitors.

Private viewings:
Friday 3 April, 9 AM – 11 AM and 5 PM – 6 PM
Saturday 4 April, 11 AM – 12 NOON and 4 PM – 5 PM
Sunday 5 April, 11 AM – 12 NOON and 4 PM – 5 PM
Monday 6 April, 9 AM – 11 AM and 5 PM – 6 PM

A maximum of 5 visitors will be allowed at a time during a private viewing in our premises in Uppsala. The exhibition area is approximately 500 square meters.


BIDDING AT THE AUCTION ON 7 APRIL

The auction will be conducted as usual. Bidding and participating in this auction is preferably done remotely. We recommend all our customers to submit bids by:

– Submitting internet bids before the hammer auction begins
– Telephone bids
– UAK Livebid (real time live bidding during the auction)

The auction room will be open during the auction. We urge all our customers if possible to bid remotely by using one of the above options. Please find more information on options for bidding on our Decorative Sales.

It will be possible to follow the auction room in real time on our website.


AFTER THE AUCTION

To facilitate for our buyers we will extend the time for collection of purchases until Friday 24 April.

Free transportation to Stockholm, Göteborg and Malmö
We will offer free transportation for payed purchases after this auction to Artmove’s terminals in Stockholm, Göteborg and Malmö. Artmove will also apply extended time for collection free of charge. More information how to order these fixed transportations will be given after the auction.
