Uppsala Auktionskammare was founded in 1731, making it one of the world’s oldest auction houses. Uppsala Auktion has a long and well-established tradition in Uppsala, and the first auction in Sweden recorded in written sources was held in 1639 by the Academic Consortium in Uppsala.
